Quality Improvement

Toomey Residential and Community Services maintains a comprehensive Quality Improvement (QI) program designed to ensure that the quality of care and service delivery is consistently monitored, reviewed, documented, and strengthened.

The goal of the QI program is to continually evaluate and improve the delivery of services and supports provided to the individuals we serve, in alignment with all applicable state and federal regulations, evidence based practice standards, professional ethics, and accreditation requirements.

Quality Improvement Plans

Each program at Toomey has a tailored QI Plan that is updated as needed with any changes approved by the QI Subcommittee of Toomey's Board of Directors.

QI Plans may include a range of evaluation activities, such as:

  • Individual, family, and staff satisfaction surveys
  • Comprehensive program evaluations
  • Assessment of outcomes and goal progress
  • Audit and compliance reviews
  • Grievance trend analysis
  • Policy review for relevance and accuracy
  • Alignment with Toomey’s mission and values
  • Benchmark comparison and demographic reviews

The current Quality Improvement Plan for each program can be accessed here (we are still finalizing some of these documents):
